Overview

The 1996 Savana Passenger Van is available in five models- G1500, G2500 regular and extended van and G3500 regular and extended van. The Savana's are all new for 1996 and replace the Rally/Vandura models. The Savana has a new aerodynamic design and a new line of Vortec engines with increased horsepower and torque. New this year, driver and passenger air bags are standard for models with less then 8600 GVWR. Additional standard features include side impact guard beams, AM/FM stereo and tinted glass. Optional equipment includes power windows, cruise control and tilt steering.
