Overview
The 1996 Geo Metro is available in four models: (Base) hatchback, (Base) sedan, LSI hatchback and LSI sedan. Standard equipment for the 1996 Metro includes driver and passenger-side airbags, Daytime Running Lamps, 5-MPH bumpers, a stainless steel exhaust system, Scotchgard¬ Fabric Protector, and passenger assist grips. Standard on the sedans and optional on the hatchbacks is the1.3L four-cylinder engine. Options for all models include ABS brakes, CFC free air conditioning, rear defroster, a stereo system and floor mats. Sedans come equipped with child safety locks, intermittent wipers, steel wheels, and wheel covers. Options for the sedans include power door locks, power rack and pinion steering, and automatic transmission.
