The 1996 Town & Country is available in three models - (Base) Town & Country, LX and LXi. The base and LXi models are extended wheel base models, while the LX model features the standard wheel base. For 1996, Town & Country models have been completely redesigned. New features include Easy Out Roller Seats, theft deterrent system and driver-side sliding door. Standard features include dual zone air conditioning, automatic transmission and power windows, mirrors and locks. Safety features include dual air bags, four-wheel ABS, child safety locks and side impact door restraints. LXi models also feature quad buckets seating remote keyless entry, luggage rack, leather seats and AM/FM cassette stereo with CD player.
