Overview
The 1996 C/K3500 Crew Cabs are available in both 2WD (C) and 4WD (K) models. New for 1996, the Crew Cabs have introduced a new line of Vortec engines. The Vortec engines have increased horsepower and torque over the engines they have replaced. Standard safety features include side impact door beams and daytime running lamps which are new for this year. Stainless steel exhaust system, intermittent windshield wipers, dual power points, AM/FM stereo, seven wire trailering harness, halogen headlamps and tinted glass are all standard equipment. Dual rear wheels, air conditioning, CD player, keyless entry remote, bedliner and leather seating are optional equipment. Preferred Equipment Groups are also available.
