Overview
The 1996 C2500 is available in four models- Regular Cab Fleetside L/D and H/D and Extended Cab Fleetside L/D and H/D. New for 1996, the C2500 is introducing a family line of Vortec engines. The Vortec engines have increased horsepower and torque over the engines they have replaced. Standard safety features include driver's side air bag, side impact door beams and daytime running lamps which are new for this year. Stainless steel exhaust system, intermittent windshield wipers, dual power points, AM/FM stereo, seven wire trailering harness and tinted glass are all standard equipment. Preferred Equipment Groups are also available.
