Overview
The 1996 Chevrolet Astro Passenger Van is available in both two-wheel-drive (2WD) and all-wheel- drive (AWD) configurations. New for 1996, all models feature a redesigned instrument panel, dual airbags and a variety of new exterior colors to choose from. Safety features include door guard beams, tinted glass and four wheel anti-lock brakes. Standard features include halogen sealed beams, side window defoggers, Am/FM stereo, cup holders and intermittent wipers. Other standard features include vinyl bucket seats, map pockets, air conditioning and steel wheels. Option packages include upgraded upholstery and seating configurations, and decor trim selections. Other options include power door locks and aluminum wheels.
