Overview
The 1996 BMW Z3 roadster is offered as a single model. The Z3 roadster, built in Spartanburg, South Carolina, is the first BMW built exclusively outside of Germany. A new model, the Z3 roadster features a manual convertible top, dual power outside mirrors, leatherette sport bucket seats and courtesy lights with time delay. Front and rear stabilizer bars, limited slip differential and 16 inch cast alloy wheels are also standard equipment. Security features consist of a coded driveaway protection system and a central locking system. When locked from the outside, the Z3 roadster+s double-locking anti-theft feature prevents the doors from being opened, even if someone gains access to the interior.
