Overview
The 1998 Grand Marquis sedan is available in two models. New for 1998, the engine horsepower rating has increased to 200 HP and 215 HP with Handling Package. Several product enhancements include a new Watt+s-linkage rear suspension (Precision Trac); standard 16-inch wheels and tires, larger front brake calipers and passive anti-theft system (Securi Lock). New standard features include floor mats, cruise control, power locks, remote trunk release and illuminated entry system. In addition, the LS features keyless entry system and Luxury Light Group. A new 16-inch teardrop alloy wheel is offered with the LS model. The rear air suspension option, available on the LS model, provides softer ride and load leveling.
