Overview
The 1998 Sonata sedan is available in three models: the Sonata, the Sonata GL and the Sonata GLS. All models feature side and rear window defoggers, tinted glass, color-keyed bumpers, rear seat ventilation ducts and variable intermittent wipers as standard safety features. Optional equipment available on all models are mud guards and carpeted floor mats. The GL and GLS models feature an AM/FM stereo with cassette player and power sunroof with a wind deflector as optional equipment. Standard features available on the GLS are cruise control, deluxe full cloth reclining bucket seats and a six-way adjustable driver's seat. New for 1998, all Sonata models feature a center console armrest as a standard feature.
