The 1998 Accord Coupes are all new for 1998. The new exterior is styled to differentiate the coupe more from sedan models. In fact, the only common exterior item between the coupe and sedan are the headlights. The interior is larger than its predecessor and for the first time the VTEC V6 is available in the coupe models. There are now four models of the Accord Coupe available- LX, EX, LX V6 and EX V-6. Engine horsepower and torque have been increased on all models. Power windows, power door locks, cruise control and air conditioning are standard on all models. Standard equipment exclusive to the EX V-6 includes steering wheel mounted radio controls, 16 aluminum alloy wheels, standard leather interior and Homelink remote system.
