Overview
The 1998 Plymouth Neon is available in four models - Neon (Base) and Highline, both available in coupe and sedan versions. The Neon remains unchanged from 1997 except for new exterior colors and new Prism cloth interior seating. Available package options on the Neon (base) models include the Competition Package, which includes a 2.0L DOHC 4 cylinder engine, bulged hood, four-wheel disc brakes, aluminum wheels, tachometer, stiffer suspension and tighter steering. For the Highline models a Value Fun Package is available, which includes a power sunroof, power door locks, power mirrors and a four speaker AM/FM cassette with CD changer controls. The Dodge brand also offers a Neon with similar option and package configurations as the Plymouth Neon.
