Overview
The Land Rover Range Rover is available in two trim-levels: 4.0 SE and 4.6 HSE. For 1998, the entire Range Rover line upgrades its sound system by offering a premium Harmon-Kardon audio system as standard equipment. The Range Rover uses permanent four-wheel drive as well as the Anti-lock braking system. Both driver and front passenger are provided with seat heaters and inflatable lumbar support, including dual driver memory settings. The climate control system includes dual temperature settings, an ice warning, and an electrically heated windshield. The security system in all Range Rovers are perimetric and volumetric, monitoring all locks and windows. The remote locking system is on a rolling code which changes each time it is activated.
