Overview
The 1998 Legacy sedan is available in three full-time 4 wheel drive models - L, 2.5 GT and the new 2.5 GT Limited (which replaces the Lsi sedan of 1997). New for 1998, all models now include a standard lighter and ashtray. Standard features on all models include air conditioning, height adjustable front seatbelts and map/reading lights. The 2.5 GT comes standard with the larger 2.5 liter engine, wood grain interior accents, power moonroof, aerodynamic ground effects and a rear spoiler. The 2.5 GT Limited adds a standard 4-speed automatic transmission, leather bucket seats, body colored ground effects, and an in-dash CD player with weather band and six speakers. All models feature lockable split fold down rear seats.
