Overview

For 1998, the C2500 2WD Pickup is available in four models, light duty and heavy duty, in regular cab and extended cab. New features for 1998 include a Passlock theft deterrent system, suppression switch for the passenger air bag and standard rear step bumper. Also new are three new paint colors: Pewter, Copper, and Indigo. No longer available is the ZY4 Deluxe two tone paint. Standard safety features include side impact door beams and daytime running lamps. Stainless steel exhaust system, dual power outlets, AM/FM stereo and eight wire trailering harness are also standard. Preferred Equipment Groups are also available.
