Overview

The all new Dodge Durango Sport-utility 4WD is the first eight passenger SUV with the largest interior, highest towing capacity and the most powerful engine in it+s class. The interior offers theater style seating. The roof is raised nearly two inches from the second seat back to increase passenger headroom and visibility. The Durango comes equipped with the Magnum+s 3.9L V6, 5.2L V8 or a new 5.9L V8 which produces 245hp and 335lb-ft torque. The Durango is designed to fill a hole created by the demand for more space, increased power and improved handling without having to purchase an over sized SUV. The Durango will be offered in four-wheel drive only for 1998. A two-wheel drive version will be available for the 1999-model year.
