Overview
The 1997 B-Series Pickups are available in seven models - B2300 (Base), SE, SE Cab Plus and B4000 SE Cab Plus for 2WD models, and B4000 (Base), Cab Plus and SE Cab Plus for 4WD models. For 1997, B4000 has a new optional five-speed automatic transmission. Also new is a standard passenger side airbag with deactivation switch included in the SE-5 Plus Package. All Cab Plus models include fold-down rear jumpseats. The SE-5 receives alloy wheels, sliding rear window, air conditioning, bedliner and more. The B-series received the Best Overall Value in their class by IntelliChoice for the last three consecutive years.
