Overview
The 1997 Mazda Miata Roadster is available with only minor changes. New on the MX-5 is a Touring Package which includes such amenities as aluminum alloy wheels, power steering, leather wrapped steering wheel, power windows, power mirrors and door map pockets. Other optional equipment include headrest speakers, a Torsen (torque-sensing) limited slip deferential and leather trim to name just a few. Also, available is a line of dealer installed accessories that range from stripes, decklid rack, front mask to fog lights and alloy wheels. The Miata was introduced seven years ago, since that time Mazda has sold more than 350,000 Miatas worldwide. The Miata+s safety can be upgraded with four wheel three-channel anti-lock braking system.
