Overview
The all new 1997 Tiburon is available in two - trim levels Tiburon (Base) and FX. The (base) model features a 130 hp 16 valve engine, the FX features a 140 hp 16 valve engine. The Tiburon features aggressive styling with features like grilleless front with ellipsoid-shaped headlights, body-colored wrap-around front bumper and integrated air dam. The FX features fog lamps and rear spoiler, optional on the base model. Power windows, split fold-down rear seat and tilt steering are standard on both models. Options on both models include a 4-speed automatic transmission, air-conditioning, AM/FM stereo with cassette and CD player. The Tiburon incoprorates 100% recyclable high performance thermoplastics extensively in its body design.
