Overview
The 1997 Mitsubishi 3000GT is available in a new more affordable base model as well as the higher-end SL and VR-4 models. Mitsubishi has refined the looks of the 3000GT with a bolder style and the addition of a high-profile rear spoiler in the hopes of attracting a widespread appeal. Also new for 1997, is the availability of Mitsubishi+s HomeLink System, new audio systems and optional leather trim in the front seating area. The SL upgrades with a 218HP 24 valves V6 which features Mitsubishi+s Variable Induction System (MVIC). Among the added features are power; driver seats, door locks and windows. The AWD VR-4 model comes equipped with a 320 HP V6 twin turbo engine, automatic climate control and a Getrag 6-speed manual transmission.
