Overview
For 1997, all C2500 2WD models now include speed sensitive power steering, driver and front passenger air bag (for light duty models) and three additional paint colors: Green Blue Metallic, Royal Blue Metallic and Dark Carmine Red Metallic. Also new this year is an underhood storage box and transmission improvements for smoother shifting into drive or reverse. Standard safety features include side impact door beams and daytime running lamps. Stainless steel exhaust system, dual power outlets, AM/FM stereo, seven wire trailering harness and tinted glass are all standard equipment. Preferred Equipment Groups are also available.
