Overview
The 1997 DeVille sedan is available in three models - (Base) DeVille, d+Elegance, and Concours. These sedans are manufactured at the Detroit Hamtramck Assembly center with an all new exterior design. The DeVilles were designed to target the maturing and active lifestyles of consumers in career positions such as managers, professionals and entrepreneurs. New to the line up this year is the d+Elegance. New standard features include side impact airbag, Magnasteer¬, a variable effort steering system, and a reengineered suspension. Unique to Cadillac is the Airbank system which protects the front center passenger along with the driver and passenger. All the DeVilles are equipped with the Northstar systems that include a 100,000 mile tune up.
