Overview
The 1997 Grand Marquis sedan is available in two models. Being built in St. Thomas, Ontario in Canada, the Grand Marquis will come equipped with improved power steering. Continued for this year is a three year or 36,000 mile limited bumper to bumper warranty. Mercury will offer a special spring edition Grand Marquis. New features added are a single key for all locks and a handling package. An interior addition for this year is a new California burl walnut woodgrain trim. No longer offered is the optional towing package. New Clearcoat Metallic exterior colors are Light Prairie Tan, Vermont Green, Deep Forest Green and Light Denim Blue.
