Overview
The 1997 Grand Caravan is available in four models - Base, SE, LE and ES. New for 1997, cruise control was relocated from steering wheel to instrument cluster. Anti-lock brake system has been upgraded to produce less noise and less pedal feedback. Enhanced Accident Response System provides a safety features which unlock power door locks and turn on interior lights after the airbag deploys. Left-side sliding door is standard on LE and ES, optional on other models. Integrated child seating is available option. All Grand Caravan models won the 1996 BOVY award.
