Overview
The 1997 Caravan is available in four models - Base, SE, LE and ES. New for 1997, Low-Speed Traction Control is available on the Caravan LE and included in the ES Decor Package. The cruise control is relocated from steering wheel to instrument cluster. Anti-lock brake system has been upgraded to produce less noise and less pedal feedback. Enhanced Accident Response System provides a safety features which unlock power door locks and turn on interior lights after the airbag deploys. Left-side sliding door is standard on LE and ES, optional on other models. Easy Out Roller Seats and numerous storage compartments are just some of the standard convenience features available. New exterior color includes Taupe Frost Metallic and Deep Amethyst Pearl.
