Overview
The F150 SuperCab 2WD returns for the 2003 model year available in six models: XL, XLT, and Lariat in either Styleside or Flareside. Available option groups include the all-new Heritage Edition and the King Ranch package. In addition to a unique two-tone exterior color scheme, the Heritage Edition includes numerous feature upgrades such as 17-inch aluminum wheels and chrome side-step tubes. The King Ranch package, available on Lariat Flareside models, upgrades the F150 by adding heated leather seats, a six-disc CD changer, embroidered floor mats, and illuminated visor vanity mirrors. The exterior of the King Ranch F150 features lower tape stripes, lighted running boards, 17- inch aluminum wheels, and two-tone paint with a raised cutline.

DUE TO INCORRECT DESIGN, THE QUICK CONNECTORS MAY NOT FULLY SEAT WITH THE TUBE INTERFACE, EVEN THOUGH THE PERSON MAKING THE CONNECTION MAY BELIEVE THAT THE QUICK CONNECTOR IS FULLY ATTACHED.
Consequences

CERTAIN CEQUENT 90 DEGREE 7-WAY RIGHT ANGLE ADAPTORS SOLD BY DISTRIBUTORS IN TOW PACKAGES FOR AFTERMARKET SALES TO TOW 5TH WHEEL RV TRAVEL TRAILERS. DUE TO INCORRECT WIRING OF THE HARNESS, THE TRAILER LIGHTS MAY NOT OPERATE PROPERLY.
Consequences
IF THE TRAILER LIGHTS ARE NOT WORKING PROPERLY, A VEHICLE CRASH CAN OCCUR.
Corrective Action
ALL OF THE DEFECTIVE TOW PACKAGES ARE STILL AT THE DISTRIBUTOR LEVEL AND HAVE NOT BEEN SOLD TO ANY CONSUMERS.
