Final Trim Value Rating

This rating is based on the economic performance of the specific trim line within a given vehicle lineup, as compared to others in this class. Because ownership costs can vary significantly by trim (often, higher-end versions are not quite as good a value in the long term), we show ratings both by trim and model line average. As a result, consumers can make better-informed decisions about how the model does overall, as well as determine which of the trims within the offering may best meet their needs. Note that it is not uncommon for the trim and model rating to be the same, as this indicates a greater overall consistency throughout the model line. The financial implications between each vehicle trim and that of similar vehicles in the same class is the "difference" as shown here.
