2008 Volvo C70 Auto Show Photo

After a couple of year's absence on the market, the Volvo C70 coupe and convertible returns as a coupe and convertible - all in one. The folding hardtop is split into three sections, allowing a long roof over a full four-seat interior. Pininfarina/Webasto will assemble it on the S40 platform in Italy (the old C70 was S60/S80-based). Volvo plans just one engine for the U.S. market when it goes on sale next spring; a 2.5-liter/218-horsepower turbocharged inline five rated 236 lb-ft and offered with manual and automatic transmissions.
