Peugeot 407 Coupe Auto Show Photo

Unveiled at the last Geneva Auto Show as a “haute couture” concept car, the powerfully styled 407 Coupe made its production debut in Frankfurt as the flagship of Peugeot’s marque. Drawing its current inspiration from the touring car tradition, the 407 Coupe is swathed in distinctive leather and aluminum, and it benefits from a collection of three high-performance powerplants, including 2.2- and 3.0-liter four-cylinder V-6 gasoline and V-6 HDTi variants, as well as a transverse-mounted six-speed automatic transmission that promises quick shifting and acceleration. A testimony to the creativity of the Peugeot Style Centre, the 407 Coupe now tops a range that has sold more than 300,000 models in the last year.
