Peugeot 20Cup Auto Show Photo

Peugeot routinely calls on its racing history to inspire head-turning concept vehicles imbued with cat-like imagery, and the 20Cup is no exception. Calling it a “racy, feline concept car,” Peugeot claims it “presages the features of future models,” which is fine and dandy if you want to control your future two-seat roadster via rack-and-pinion steering linked to a single-arm rear axle fitted with one F1-style tire. Power is produced by a prototype 1.6-liter/167-horse super- and turbocharged gasoline engine, akin to the Volkswagen TwinCharger, and transferred to the three 18-inch alloy wheels via paddle-shifted six-speed transmission. With both a black and a white example on display, Peugeot hopes this unique combination of motorcycle and automobile concept will eventually turn heads on racing circuits. Seems it would turn heads anywhere…
