2007 Dodge Nitro Auto Show Photo

Working with the Jeep Liberty platform, Dodge will widen and lengthen the smallish midsize SUV, as well as square off many of the body panels, in order to give it a Dodge flavor. Expect the engine to be the same 3.7-liter V-6, with the very real possibility of an SRT version to follow soon after its 2007 model year introduction. A stiffer suspension, lower profile tires, an all-wheel drive system, and up-rated engine package will surely separate the Nitro SRT-6 from the pack.
