The convention floor at Pal-Expo is underattack with mythological creatures... In the chilling winter, it would seem appropriate for the Yeti name to be applied to an all-terrain vehicle concept. A small rig, the Yeti announces serious interest from the Volkswagen division to expand its range into the affordable sport/ute arena. Resisting the urge to overstyle with dramatic flair, rivets, or fur, Skoda has instead created a small vehicle ready for urban commuting and braving European winters. Pushing the wheels out to the corners maximizes interior space and provides steep approach/departure angles, though this is strictly a light-duty machine. Best styling element has to be the roof rails that emerge from the A-pillars and anchor down to the D-post. Worst element has to be the cute paint scheme made famous last month by the Toyota FJ Cruiser.
