Citroen C6 Auto Show Photo

Citroen continues to get its avant-garde groove thing back on with the big C6 sedan. Evoking the groundbreaking 1955 DS 19 sedan, the front-drive C6 sits low and long, with a hatchback-like roofline that actually ends in a short, but deep trunk and a concave backlight. The doors are frameless and the rear doors and side windows do not have matching cutlines. But the interior is too conservative for this car. It lacks the smaller C4's fixed steering wheel hub (only the rim moves), for example. Engines are a 3.0-liter V-6 and a 2.7-liter biturbo diesel V-6, the latter a collaboration with Ford. On sale late this year, don't expect to see the car very far outside France, let alone anywhere near North America.
