The 2013 Toyota Highlander continues in five trims: Base, new Plus, SE, Limited and Hybrid. Updates this year are limited to the addition of a Plus trim and new audio/connectivity features, including Toyota Entune service. Engine choices remain between a 2.7-liter four-cylinder engine and a 3.5-liter V6 engine producing 270 horsepower and 278 lb-ft of torque. The Hybrid features a powerful and advanced 3.5-liter V6 gasoline engine, and the Leather Package on the Hybrid adds popular equipment such as full leather-trimmed front seats with front seat heaters, leather-trimmed steering wheel and shift knob, power moonroof, HomeLink, auto-dimming rearview mirror with compass, and an engine immobilizer with security alarm.
