The 2013 Toyota Sequoia continues with minor changes for the new model year. The standard powertrain across the entire line-up is now the iForce DOHC 5.7L V8 (the 4.6L has been discontinued) which is mated to a six speed automatic transmission. The engine produces 381 hp and 401 lb.-ft of torque and features dual independent variable valve timing with intelligence for added efficiency. Sequoia can tow up to 7400 lbs. when properly equipped and the standard sway control utilizes stability control for increased safety and handling capability. With seating for up to eight passengers, the family oriented full-size SUV now features a brand-first Blu-Ray rear seat entertainment system, as well as making available Toyota's Entune infotainment service for the first time. In select areas on 4WD models, the engine is also Flex Fuel capable.
