Offered in coupe, convertible, sedan and wagon bodystyles, the E-Class features an all encompassing engine line-up from the BlueTEC turbodiesel to the high performance AMG, and now, a hybrid (E400)has been added to the line-up as well. Updates this year include the new mbrace2 next generation telematics which makes available such advanced technologies as ATTENTION ASSIST, active lane keep assist, auto brake intervention, PRE-SAFE Brake with Auto Emergency Braking, adaptive highbeam headlamps, and Nightview Assist PLUS with pedestrian detection. The all new hybrid is the first vehicle to feature a lithium-ion battery designed specifically for automotive use.
