The Lexus ES has been completely redesigned for the 2013 model year and continues in ES 350 as well as a new ES 300h Hybrid model. The vehicles see major changes including a longer wheelbase for improved ride dynamics and increased interior roominess, as well as updates to the steering and suspension systems. The Hybrid model is expected to achieve 40 MPG city. This is the brand's sixth generation ES, first launched over 20 years ago. Along with many luxury amenities, both models feature a Drive Mode functionality, which allows selection of Normal, Eco, and Sport modes to complement and enhance the driving preferences of the owner. The ES 300h has an EV mode as well, which will power the vehicle on battery only for short distances at lower speeds.
