The 2012 Jeep Patriot, freshened last year, returns for this year with no major changes. Patriot is offered in Sport and Latitude, and Limited models, in either 2WD or 4WD. Patriot features over 30 safety and security features including side-curtain air bags, Electronic Stability Program, hill start assist control, traction control, brake assist, anti-lock brakes and tire pressure monitoring. Four new colors are available this year: Rescue Green Pearlcoat; as well as, True Blue, Copperhead, and Blue Streak Pearl Coat. Patriot aims to attract consumers with the combination of an affordable price, off-road capability and fuel efficiency. The four-wheel drive models feature Jeep's Freedom Drive II system and an improved automatic offers better acceleration, smoother deceleration, and reduced engine noise.
