The 2012 Subaru Forester is available in several trims including Base, Premium, Limited and Touring. Updates for this model year include a new standard height-adjustable passenger front seat and a new optional navigation system. The standard engine is a 177 horsepower 2.5L four-cylinder Boxer DOHC engine while the XT models receive a turbocharged version of the 2.5L engine that produces 224 horsepower and 226 lb-ft of torque. The top-of-the-line Touring model features such standard amenities as high intensity discharge headlamps, integrated turn signal mirrors, silver-finish roof rails, one-touch folding rear seats, and dual automatic climate control.
