After a total redesign last year, the 2012 Jaguar XJ returns with a host of minor updates and continues in six trims: Base, Supercharged, and Supersport in either regular or long wheelbase configuration. Changes this year include the addition of two new performance oriented option packages (Sport and Speed packs). Selection of the packages adds such features as revised aerodynamics at the front and rear, red-painted brake calipers, 20-inch alloy wheels and sport seating. The Speed Pack, offered on Supercharged models, raises the electronically limited top speed from 155 to 174 miles per hour. New interior trim choices offer consumers a greater level of color and wood combinations. Other standard amenities include keyless remote entry, Bluetooth wireless connectivity, moonroof, heated mirrors, heated and cooled front seats, and memory settings for outside mirrors, pedals and seats.
