The Nissan Xterra returns for 2012 with little change. It is available in three trims: X and S (in two or four-wheel drive), and PRO-4X (featuring standard part-time four-wheel drive. All models are powered by a 4.0L V6 engine producing 261 horsepower and 281 lb-ft of torque. The engine is coupled to either a six-speed manual or five-speed automatic transmission. Standard equipment across the board includes a split-folding rear seat, four-wheel anti-lock brakes, stability control, power convenience features, cruise control, remote keyless entry, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror. There are two new exterior color choices: Metallic Blue and Brilliant Silver.
