The 2012 Nissan Pathfinder is carried over from last year with no major changes. Available trims include S, SV, LE and Silver Edition (new last year). Only the LE features an available 5.6L V8 engine that generates 310 horsepower and 388 lb-ft of torque. Other minor changes this year include the availability of a power moonroof and DVD entertainment system as optional on Silver grade models. As well, vehicle navigation is now standard on LE V6 trims. One new exterior color is offered this year: Brilliant Silver (replacing last year's Silver Lightening). Pathfinder features standard three-row seating (the third row folds flat) and offers many option choices including leather seating, Intelligent Key with "twist start," Bluetooth compatibility and rear view monitor. One of the few true mid-sized SUV vehicles, the Pathfinder is built on a fully boxed all-steel frame shared with the Nissan Armada.
