The 2012 Lincoln MKS is available in three trims: FWD, AWD and EcoBoost AWD. The FWD and AWD models are equipped with a 270 horsepower 3.7L V6 engine while the EcoBoost AWD receives a direct injection twin-turbo charged 3.5L V6 engine producing 355 horsepower and 350 lb-ft of torque. It makes the same power as a 4.6L V8 but still maintains a V6 engines fuel economy of 16/25 city/highway. Both engines are mated to a SelectShift six-speed automatic transmission. Standard features on all models include MYKey programmable vehicle key, power rear window shades, Forward Sensing System, rain-sensing wipers, traction control, and tire pressure monitoring system. The EcoBoost AWD model also receives 19-inch wheels, steering wheel paddle shifter with the six-speed SelectShift automatic, adaptive HID headlights, and Intelligent Access with push button start.
