2012 Ford Taurus Limited AWD 4Dr Sedan Engine & Transmission Specifications

The 2012 Ford Taurus is carried over from last year with few changes. Available in SE, SEL, Limited and SHO trim levels, updates include integrated blind-spot mirrors and updated color selection (Ginger Ale Metallic is new for this year). As the flagship sedan for the Ford line-up, the Taurus offers consumers a wide variety of amenities and technology, including adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning system, and multicontoured seats. True to its performance nature, the SHO is equipped with Ford SelectShift Auotmatic six-speed transmission with steering-wheel paddle shifters, and a standard 3.5L EcoBoost V6. It also features unique interior and exterior trim appointments and a sport tuned suspension. A freshened Taurus is expected for the 2013 model year.
