The 2012 Chevrolet Equinox is available in six trims: LS, LT and LTZ in either front or all-wheel drive configurations. The standard engine on all models is a 182 horsepower 2.4L Ecotec direct injected I-4 engine while an optional 264 horsepower 3.0L V-6 engine is available on the LT and LTZ trims. Both engines are mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. Standard features on all models include keyless remote entry, StabiliTrak electronic stability control system, XM satellite radio, and Onstar telematics system. The OnStar telematics system includes a six-month trial of the Directions & Connections Plan.
