For 2012, the Nissan Altima is offered in both sedan (Base, S and SR) and coupe bodystyles (S and SR). Updates for this year include a new Value Package on sedan, which offers popular options such as Bluetooth, leather-wrapped steering wheel with audio controls, automatic headlights, and auto dimming rearview mirror. Last year's Special Edition Package continues for 2012. One new color, Dark Slate, now replaces Metallic Slate. Altima Coupes offer the choice of either a six-speed manual or continuously variable automatic. Major options include Nissan Intelligent Key, RearView monitor, and Nissan Navigation with XM NavTraffic and NavWeather.
