After a complete redesign for the 2011 model year, the 2012 Dodge Durango returns with minor changes in four trims: SXT, Crew, R/T, and Citadel in 2WD and AWD configurations. Updates for this year include newly available second row "flip/fold" Captain's chairs (offered on all trims). Optional second-row storage consoles add walk-through convenience between the rows as well as added storage. Engine choices include new 292 horsepower 3.6-liter V6 engine and a 5.7L V8 HEMI that generates 360 horsepower and 390 lb-ft of torque. Both engines are mated to a five-speed automatic transmission with overdrive. Standard amenities include keyless remote entry with remote start, deep tinted glass, roof rails, and heated mirrors. Safety features include tire pressure monitor, dual front airbags, front and rear head curtain airbags, and side-impact airbags.
