For 2012, the Chevrolet Camaro returns with minor changes and is offered in LS Coupe, and LS and SS coupe and convertible models. A high performance ZL1 trim will be available later in the model year (early 2012). The ZL1 features a standard LSA 6.2L supercharged V8 which will produce an estimated 580 horsepower mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. It also comes with Magnetic Ride Control, vented carbon fiber hood insert, and other aerodynamic exterior enhancements. Changes to the rest of the Camaro line up include performance improvements to the V6 engine, an available FE4 suspension on SS coupes, freshened gauge cluster, new steering wheel design, and a rear view camera system. To celebrate the Camaro's 45th Anniversary, a Special Edition model will be available; it will feature unique badging and design elements on the interior and exterior.
