The all-new fourth-generation 2012 Subaru Impreza is available in either wagon or sedan bodystyles and several trims: 2.5i, 2.5i Premium, 2.5i Limited, 2.5i Sport Premium, 2.5i Sport Limited, WRX, WRX Premium, WRX Limited, WRX STi and WRX STi Limited. The Impreza is powered by a new 148 horsepower 2.0-liter Boxer engine that increases fuel economy by 30% over the previous engine. WRX models receive a 266 horsepower turbocharged 2.5-liter Boxer four-cylinder engine with the STi version producing 305 horsepower and 290 lb-ft of torque. Sti models receive chassis and suspension upgrades, high polish quad steel exhaust pipes, and a freshened gauge cluster.
