The 2012 Porsche Cayman is available in four models: base, S, S Black Edition, and new R. The Cayman will be completely redesigned for the 2013 model year. The base model features a 265 horsepower 2.9L six-cylinder Boxer engine while the S, S Black Edition and R receive a 3.4L flat-six engine generating 320 horsepower (330 horsepower on the Black Edition and R). Both engines are mated to either a short-shift six-speed manual transmission or a seven-speed PDK double-clutch gearbox transmission. There are two new exterior color options: Ipanema Blue Metallic and Peridot Metallic.
