For the 2012 model year, the Nissan Maxima receives an update of the exterior, including a new grill and headlight treatment, and revised alloy wheel designs. Still offered in S and SV trim levels, other changes for this year consist of freshened gauge cluster (with white illumination), Dark Piano-hairline trim, as well as a new Atlantic Cherry wood tone trim. A new Beige interior color is offered, in addition to two exterior colors: Java Metallic and Dark Slate. A Limited Edition Package with popular equipment such as smoked HID headlamps, illuminated kick plates, Dark Hyper Silver wheels, rear spoiler, and a dark satin chrome front grille is also available. Allowing customers to select the equipment that best suits their needs and budge, Maxima also features a Sport, Premium, and Tech Package options.
